Hill Vacation Rental Cabin

It was a great visit, even though it was a winter break without snow. The house was very clean and fit for our size (two parents + 3 kids + dog). very convenient location, and really good amenities. we really enjoyed our vacation and would be back!

We loved the pool table/ping pong table in the garage space. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots/pans/gadgets we could want. Fenced yard provided ease of mind for when we let the dog out. The Roku was a nice touch. The house has been tastefully remodeled and was very clean. Home was a quick walk to the beach and an easy drive to Northstar and Truckee. Highly recommend Whitecaps Pizza just a few minutes away. Overall, a great space and would definitely consider visiting again.

We booked our vacation for 5 nights, after staying at another Agate property last year, and this house was even better. Our trip didn’t go as planned, due to husband and myself getting very sick. We sent our daughter for the first 2 nights, then I arrive on day 3, but husband never had a chance to make the trip, we hope to rent again in a couple of months to all spend sometime together. Place was comfortable and amazing, we will definitely stay here again & again.

We had a great week of family vacations. The house felt like our own and had all the items to have a good time.

What a wonderful retreat by the golf course. Clean, ample space inside and out, walkable to stores and lake. Can’t wait to return when there’s snow!

This property is in a great location! Close to restaurants, Kings Beach, grocery store, and much more. Our dogs felt right at home and safe in the gated yard, property even has a doggy door. We would definitely stay here again.

This was like our home away from home! Spacious, incredibly comfortable, clean, and located next to everything within walking distance. Thank you for allowing us to bring our Beagle & Cocker Spaniel! They had fun exploring on their walks too! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back! Private jacuzzi was the best!!!

Fabulous location walking distance to Kings Beach and the Old Brockaway Course! We had a wonderful stay and the house is very dog friendly, even though we didn't bring ours this time. Loved the tall trees throughout the neighborhood. Great house.

My husband and I were very happy to find the Hill cabin for an almost last minute getaway with our two dogs. It is on a very quiet street in Kings Beach / Tahoe Vista and backs up to a golf course. The house was the cleanest vacation rental I have ever stayed in and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. The backyard is fully fenced so the pups could safely play. Just know that fence is low and has space between the boards so if you have an escape artist, be sure to keep a close eye on your dog(s). The hot tub was wonderful and we were pleasantly surprised to find a pool table / ping pong table setup in the garage / rumpus room. The house is within walking distance of the lake across the boulevard and Safeway is around the corner. We’ll definitely return to Hill cabin!

My family and I really enjoyed our stayed. The house was walking distance from a few restaurant and the market. The kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms were a pretty good size. My dogs loved the backyard. Sand harbor beach was 30 min drive.

We loved our stay at the Hill cabin in Tahoe. The owners of the cabin have gone to a great effort in making their guests feel cozy and comfortable. The cabin was comfortable and the small touches appreciated. We enjoy cooking and we were grateful to have good quality, and a plentiful variety, of cookware. The pool table was great fun and the hot tub relaxing as the snow fell. The location was great and you could easily walk to the beach and grocery store - even in the snow. The cabin is very quite and private. I would absolutely stay at the Hill Cabin again. Our family had a great time.

This house has everything that we were looking for and more. Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub, but maybe next time. The game room in the garage was a nice touch since there isn't much to do in the winter other than ski, board, and sled. The location was great! Spindleshanks is right down the street and has the best food that we have found on North Shore hands down. The grocery store is also right down the street in case you forgot any snacks or like to shop once you get to your destination instead of packing everything. The casino is only 5 minutes away if you like to gamble which we do. In the summertime the beach is within walking distance. We are looking forward to staying here again in the summer! :)

Nice place plenty of things to do from card/board games, pool/ping pong table, and toys in the garage. Will recommend to friends and family.

Wonderful place! My wife, baby, dog, 2 grandparents, and I stayed here for 3 nights. the location is fantastic - less than 5 minute walk to the lake, a grocery store and restaurants down the street, and a 15 minute drive to north star. The place is very well laid out with comfortable beds and a nice updated kitchen. It very comfortably fit our group. The fenced yard was great for our dog. The hot tub was excellent. Overall, an outstanding place and one that we would definitely stay in again!

A great place to celebrate Christmas with our family.

This is our second stay in the Tahoe Vista area, but the first time in Kings Beach and we loved our stay here! The location is convenient, not far from the grocery store, restaurants, and coffee shops. The house was spotless and easy to get to and into with garage access. The property is spacious and with doors separating most of the rooms, allowing us to retain heat/cordon off wandering dogs. Pet friendly was a big draw for us and they're prepared with linens, sheets, bowls, etc for your pet. The jacuzzi was great and was serviced while we stayed. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, and all dishes and more basics/spices than I had expected to find. The water pressure and temp are amazing and perfect for the freezing Tahoe temps. We had an issue with the fireplace during our stay and Agate Bay was very quick to have it resolved. Their customer service was friendly and responsive, even later in the evening. You won't regret booking here!

Beautiful and cozy cabin, right on the golf course and walking distance from Kings Beach. using the hot tube after a long day of boarding and showering was so nice! would love to come back, very close to Northstar and relativley close to Palisades.

Lovely, updated cabin feel home with easy access to the lake and close drive down from Truckee. The kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/dishes and plenty of towels/lines/extra blankets. We loved the fireplace and hot tub and pool table. The neighborhood was quite. My parents loved being in walking distance to the Safeway grocery store. We enjoyed a short walk to the lake. We would rent again and would recommend to others as well.

Had a very nice stay at this Lake Tahoe home. Home was clean and had everything we needed. Host was very good at communicating expectations of stay. It was nice to be close to the grocery store and restaurants. we enjoyed doing some activities by the lake and hiking in the mountains very close by.

This is our second time staying here - it fits our needs perfectly with a nice yard, awesome hot tub, and ample space for our pups. Agate Bay Realty does a really great job with communication, and making sure everything set up nicely. We will stay again!

This stay exceeded my expectations both with the cabin and also it location in North Lake Tahoe. It takes 5 mins to walk to the lake, Safeway, and lovely restaurants (highly recommend Jason Beachside Grill which is dog friendly). The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and really made our stay in Tahoe. The biggest sell for us was that we could bring our dog too. There is a fenced in backyard which makes it easy. I like to take my dog everywhere and Tahoe is such a great place to do that so grateful we found this cabin. I am already looking at dates to come back again.

We had such a great time here. We love that we were able to walk to Kings Beach and local restaurants. We also enjoyed being in the hot tub and enjoying the backyard. We had an amazing time thanks to our time here.

Agate Reality made the Airbnb easy and enjoyable. Loved the house and location. Tahoe is such a beautiful area. brink your e-bikes because there are some great rides around the lake.

Walk to the beach and Spindleshanks, an excellent dog friendly restaurant with heated patio. Space is very well throughout and the garage / game room was a nice bonus.

Great place to book if traveling with dogs because dogs stay for free! The fenced backyard allows dogs to play while supervised. Location is great since it is close to grocery stores and coffee. This home is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and is great for a trip to get away from big cities. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and appreciated how cozy and clean the place was.

Great location: quiet, serene, surrounded by majestic trees and a short walking distance to the lake. Good amenities and kids friendly. The house was mostly clean but we had to wash the bedsheets on our arrival as we found hairs in the linens. Despite this, we had a great time and the kids had a blast with the ping pong table in the garage.

The Hill cabin is a great place and conveniently located. The neighborhood is very quiet with lots of trees. The golf course adds nice greenery as it meanders on the edges of the residential area. We walked to the town area of Kings Beach a couple of times. You can walk to the beach unless you have a lot of stuff to bring. The cabin was very comfortable, including the bed, couches and patio furniture. To say the kitchen is fully stocked is an understatement. It has everything you can imagine and more. There were a lot of doors and little hallway transitions, but it is actually logical. You can shut off parts of the unused cabin for roaming dogs and kids, and conserve heat. Bedrooms and bathrooms can keep closed off, so there is a lot privacy between the two sets of bedrooms/bath. The back patio area is just lovely. Very peaceful, nice patio deck and spa.The trees are beautiful and part of the golf course runs beyond the backyard and trees.

4th time staying with Agate Bay in this area and had another great experience. This property was in an awesome location, had a great backyard and everything we needed. Not much more to ask for.

This house is very cozy, and the location is within walking distance to the beach which is lovely. Also, within walking distance to the golf course and Safeway. If you aren’t used to the smell of dogs, and don’t find that smell very pleasant, I wouldn’t suggest staying here because the furniture and carpet and random areas in the house smell like dog breath. But if you have a dog you’re traveling with it would likely be a perfect spot for you. Beds were comfortable and there a lot of games to play and the hot tub was clean and quite enjoyable. The hot water did stop working on our final day there, to no fault of the owners, but a more prompt response from the rental agency regarding the issue would have made our stay nearly perfect. Because we couldn’t shower after our morning at the beach, we all had to ride home covered in sand and sun screen which I wasn’t to happy about. All in all, a great place, great location, great backyard and wonderful vacation rental.

This home was such a lovely place with great accommodations and local tips. From restaurants to activities and several different beach locations, they did a fantastic job. I would definitely stay here again and hope to in the near future.

Perfect for a couple getaway! The house had an upgraded rustic charm to it - very clean and well appointed. Loved the games, ping pong table, and spa. Nice to walk to the golf course, lake, Safeway for groceries, and local restaurants. Plan to come back with the kiddos at a future date.

This home is very nice with all the finishing touches throughout the interior! The exterior is well maintained with a fenced backyard, manicured lawn, for your furry buddies! And, for myself the jacuzzi was perfect, along with the bbq which we enjoyed grilling on. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back! I would also highly recommend this home to my friends, and, family.

The home was beautiful. The hot tub, grill and back yard were perfect for evening relaxation. Walk-able to the beach, trail heads, grocery store, and village of Kings Beach which was very convenient! The garage recreation area was an added bonus with a pool table and ping pong table. We loved that there was beach gear (chairs, umbrella, kids chairs, sand toys) and board games to utilize! This is an amazing home for a get away! Although we didn’t have kids or dogs with us, it would be an excellent space for both!! Check in/check out process was easy and convenient. Management company was helpful and responded promptly. Highly recommend Hill Cabin for your getaway.

Great location! It's a short walk to King's Beach and Safeway. We brought our 4 & 2 year old and they loved the bunk beds. It's all one level so we didn't have to worry about stairs. We would stay again.

Our stay at this beautiful cabin was amazing! The cabin was spotless and location was perfect! It walking distance to the grocery store, golf course, beaches and trails. And it pet friendly!! Amazing, amazing stay and we can’t wait to be back! Definitely recommend!

Great place for a get away in Lake Tahoe! The house was very clean, comfortable and had plenty of room for my family. It was nice to come home from a day of hiking and mountain biking and be able to enjoy the hot tub. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful home with every amenity plus some. The kitchen had everything you need including spices, both bathrooms had fresh towels and soaps available.5)3 master bedroom bed was incredibly comfortable and we loved the view out the backyard. It was also so close to everything. We hope to be back!

We stayed here with my sister and her family (husband + 2 children). The property is nicely situated near Northstar, Squaw and Alpine. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you need to make meals. The living room has cozy sofa, an easy to use electric fireplace and a nice large dining table. After a long day of skiing we loved hanging out in the hot tub. The beds are very comfortable and rooms are nicely sized. Considering the size of our group we all had plenty of space! An even bigger plus is the boot dryer and storage in the garage for ski gear! I would highly recommend to anyone traveling to this area.

Convenient, clean and cozy cabin. This place worked out great for our spring break and was everything we needed for a great week in the mountains!

One review stated that they hadn’t stayed in a cleaner or nicer pet rental, and I must say that sold me. Now having stayed there I can agree completely. The home was furnished nicely, the beds were comfortable, thoughtful touches were left, such as a sheet to cover any furniture that your pet may want to be on. The kitchen was fully stocked, and made my baking projects a breeze. The fireplace, although gas, worked wonderfully to warm up the space very nicely and our pup loved it. The driveway had been cleared of snow and the walking path shoveled as well. The grocery is nearby so anything we forgot was easily picked up. The location was fantastic and it was so nice to wake up in the morning and have the empty snow filled golf course to look at behind the house. We would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was absolutely everything we needed and wanted for our stay. It was cozy without being outdated (or too rustic, as they like to say), and was just the right size. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed for our meals, the game supply was great, and the location was perfect. We had family dinners there and created many wonderful new memories around the dining room table. The fact that it was dog-friendly was awesome, and we hope to come back and stay in the summer when we can walk down to the lake. We couldn't have asked for more!

This was an awesome place to stay. Not only was it warm and cozy but it was extremely clean. We even were able to bring my sister in laws dog with us which was a huge plus. This is by far the best dog friendly rental I’ve ever stayed in. Loved the fireplace, hot tub, proximity to restaurants and the lake! Would definitely return!

Excellent rental within walking distance to the lake, grocery store and Starbucks as well as a few restaurants. Easy access to Squaw, Northstar and Diamond Peak for skiing. On a golf course if staying during the summer.

It was an absolute pleasure staying in this home. Being able to escape the bad air in the Bay Area with such short notice and find a house this lovely and accessible. We truly enjoyed the outdoor spa wish gave that extra feeling of luxury in this home that hold a very high quality feeling in general.

We had a wonderful stay with our family of four at this home! We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening, the large windows looking out towards the trees/golf course and all the amenities. Check in and out process was very smooth and we had very quick responses from management. Thanks again for the stay!

The house and location are great! We enjoyed having a nice kitchen for meal prep on the days we stayed in. Terrific proximity to the lake, grocery stores, and restaurants. We were inside more than anticipated due to some early rain, but were comfy. It turned out to be a relaxing week.

Host had excellent communication and very quick response time leading up to our stay. House was cute and in a quiet area. Hot tub was nice.

The view from inside the living room is out to the backyard and it looks like your in heaven. There are big trees grass and a nice well kept backyard. The house inside is beautifully updated ; the pictures don't really show how nice- I loved it. Quiet too.

The condo was extremely clean and having a golf course in the back yard provided a nice relaxing atmosphere. Each bedroom had its own tv which was very nice except for the fact that the tv in the master bedroom was cracked. When we called to inform management they already knew it was broken so I was a bit surprised we were not informed or repairs were done before we arrived. I can't comment on the hot tub bc we never got a chance to use it. Our whole stay was extremely pleasant except for a horrible dining experience at a near by Italian food restaurant named Lanzas. It's within walking distance from the condo and I would definitely not recommend them to anyone. We would stay again at the condo, had a great time!

This was our first time renting a cabin at the lake. We had stayed in hotels in the past but due to the "dog friendly" nature, it suited our family perfectly. If you're here for a few days, you feel like it's your own vacation retreat so it's perfect for relaxing or as a starting point for any activities you might have in mind at the lake. The people at agate Bay Realty couldn't have been nicer throughout the process. One tip however, be sure to look in all the drawers and cubby holes if you need something as we found things we needed hidden away.

This rental was more like a home than a cabin, which I say in a positive way. It was very comfortable without being too rustic. I loved cooking in the kitchen and the master bedroom was terrific. The location is nice too since it's within walking distance to both Safeway and the lake. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the Hill house in mid-September. It was our first trip with the kids to Tahoe. I had grown-up spending summers camping in Tahoe and want that experience for my kids. However, they are a little too young for camping so we decided on a cabin. This is one of the nicest houses/cabins in which I have stayed. It was very clean, well-equipped and nicely updated. It has a great little backyard with BBQ and hot tub with nice lawn that looks out over the rough of a golf course. It's also a 10 min walk to the lake, which we went to every day. A Safeway is also within walking distance. There is a ping pong table in the garage, which my 4 year old loved. And bunk beds. I have been hearing about the bunk beds since we got back. My son wants bunk beds. Just a great all-around experience and agate Bay Realty was easy to work with and even checked in on us by email to make sure everything was going well.

My husband, pug, and I were very excited to stay at the Hill cabin based on the pictures we saw and the information we read. When we got there we were thrilled that the cabin was even better than the pictures let on! It was very cozy, and had every amenity you could imagine. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fun ping pong table, while our dog enjoyed the adorable grassy yard. In terms of location, it can't get better. We walked to Safeway and the beach. Amazing! We had a wonderful time, and kept talking about when we could return again. Thank you!

What a great house with a Tahoe canin feel and all the necessary amenities! Beautiful fenced in yard for our dog who loved watching the birds and beautiful golf course. Loved the cozy livingroom with fireplace. We will definitely go back!
