Perfect little one bedroom cabin for us to get away with the pups! Host was super responsive and proactive.

Our stay was perfect! It was quiet, easy to check in and find. Parking for one car right in front of the door and not too far from the main road. It was professionally cleaned and free from clutter which was convenient as we had a little one with us. Agate Bay was very communicative and responsive.

Perfect weekend cabin closed to beach and restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful time!

The perfect place for a short getaway in North Lake Tahoe. Plenty of places to eat and drink and explore.

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful quiet neighborhood! Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place. As mentioned in other reviews no curtains on the front of the house felt a little “fishbowl” in the evenings but would come again anytime! Loved the beautiful fireplace/heater! Thank you for sharing!

Such a wonderful cabin for a couple looking to get away. Walkable (~1 mile) to the beach of Lake Tahoe and to Safeway. Really appreciated it being dog-friendly - so many good hikes nearby.

We had a great snowy cabin in the woods experience here. It was very warm and cozy and clean. It’s well finished and updated for a nice modern cabin vibe. We had everything we needed including a shovel to get our car out after a night of fresh snow. Great location near Northstar and plenty of restaurants and grocery nearby. Would stay here again!

Great little place for a couple and a dog. It has basically everything you need and is in a great location - 2 min to go to restaurants/bars near Kings Beach and 10-15 min to Tahoe City. The only thing that could possibly make this place better is having shades on the back and side doors, and having a full length mirror somewhere. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back. Thanks!

This gorgeous home was everything i needed for a staycation with my dog to recharge for a few days. I could live in this house full time, it is that perfect! Perfect location close to the lake, Northstar and tons of restaurants but far enough away to feel privacy and immersed in nature. Highly recommend!

Perfect location ~ actually a bit closer to Northstar ski resort than Truckee. Also right around the block from restaurants and a golf course. Beautiful cabin perfect for our stay.

Charming, quaint cabin in a centrally-located place in Tahoe Vista. Excellent location for Northstar access (against traffic at most times of day). Perfect for a couple and a canine. A little tight on space with ski season gear in the midst, and lacks a W/D for ski season gear wash cycles.

This was a very amazing cabin and very clean! We were happy it was dog-friendly which is why we chose it. The heated floor in the bathroom was a HUGE bonus (especially when it was 26ºF in the morning!). We also loved that the gas fireplace was also the heater - got super warm and cozy fast! Bed was very comfortable and warm. One thing that stood out was the lack of shades on some of the windows above the "dining" area. A full-length mirror would have been helpful. Lastly, there was unusual clutter that was in the kitchen drawers along with the clutter around the property and on the porch. Price was a little high for the size, but given it was a holiday weekend, we get it. Super cozy cabin! Parking was easy. Instructions and communication were amazing. Overall, great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lewis Lair cabin! The cabin is small, but well organized and bigger in person than the photos portray. Everything is new and nicely done. There's limited space to store your belongings, but we were able to make it work. The best part is the neighborhood and surrounding areas. Our dog loved going on walks along the cross-country skiing path that is walking distance from the house. We also did a number of dog-friendly hikes nearby. You're only a 5 minute drive from the main part of Kings Beach, which has a few restaurants, Safeway, a great brewery (Bear Belly), and beach access. We would definitely stay again!

This cabin is just as cute as the listing says! My friend, pup and I stayed for a long weekend and had a blast. It about a 15-20 min walk to the main street restaurants, King Beach, and cute shops. We had a minor snafu with the wifi but the Agate team was able to resolve it quickly. Would highly recommend!

We stayed for a ski weekend in deep, 6 foot snow and this lil cabin was cozy and comfy. Quick walk to a beautiful trail. Love that the fireplace is part of the heat so it flips on when it gets cool. Nice, stocked kitchen. Appreciate that this place is dog friendly.

It's just right for a cozy trip for two. The location was perfect - close to to town but also surrounded by beautiful nature. The views of the forest out the windows were gorgeous - we were surrounded by tall trees and beside a snow-covered creek. The cabin itself was beautiful and clean with high-end finishes and amenities. The management was very responsive and friendly. We loved our time there and would recommend it with enthusiasm.

The location is easy and close to everything. Space is wonderful, everything just works well. Our dog really enjoyed himself and settled right in. We would recommend this place if you are in the area. We don't have snow, so that is what we came for and that is what we got.

This little cabin is perfect for a couple! Super cozy, dog-friendly, and close to shops and restaurants. We especially love the big fireplace (our pup did too!). Definitely would return!

This is definitely one of the best Airbnb I have stayed. It is super clean, cozy, and easy to check in and out! It is also 2 minutes away from Safeway! Staying there really made me felt like home. Would definitely book again. Trust me you will not regret booking this place. It comes eaxtly like the picture. Also one thing is that when I first checked in everything was super clean, and they left the TV on for us.

Loved our stay at this amazing place! Small but newly refurbished with heated floors in the bathroom, and all the new amenities (wifi, smart TV, and gas fire place that heats the house via the thermostat). Great location off of highway 267 near kings beach. Plenty of hiking trails near by and great food options for dining out. highly recommend for a couple with a dog. Enjoy!

This was a great cabin that my wife, dog and I enjoyed. It is in the perfect location close to essentials like a super market and restaurants. Also very close to the lake and skiing. We would rent it again for another weekend getaway.

Everything you need for a woodland retreat. The location is exceptionally convenient, with access to a trailhead through North Tahoe Regional Park and Kings Beach for groceries and killer sunsets on the lake.

This is a great little cabin that is centrally located. We were there during a pretty bad storm watch (a lot of ice) so it wasn't super walk able, but I assume during normal conditions (and the summer) it is. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. We'll definitely see availability for this cabin for our next trip.

Part of me is tempted to selfishly keep this review to myself because I don’t want anyone to know what a gem this is and keep it all to myself. However, I have a conscience, so I’ll let you in on the secret. This cabin was THE BEST place we’ve ever stayed. It was absolutely perfect for my partner and I and our 2 dogs. My partner is a firefighter and I’m a nurse, so our time together is limited and precious, and what a reset button this pushed for the both of us.We came a few weeks after that major Christmas storm, so there was plenty of snow around the cabin, making it even more picturesque. Super cute, quiet neighborhood. We would walk our dogs every morning to Kings Beach and get coffee, right next to the lake. The fireplace was amazing, the heated floors in the bathroom were such a great feature and the view out the bedroom window makes you never want to get up. Everything was all remodeled yet still had a rustic charm.Not going to lie. I teared up when we left, and have been looking about when we can come back during our entire 3 hour drive home. If you’re hesitant about booking, don’t be. It just the best. Unless it when we want to book, in that case, please don’t ; )
