Description

Located on the 9th fairway of the Old Brockway Golf Course, this 1 bedroom/1 bath allows guests to unplug and leave their car in the driveway.

The house is within walking distance of Safeway, Spindleshanks Restaurant, the North Tahoe Beach center, golf course, and downtown Kings Beach.

The cabin has been nicely remodeled including kitchen and bathrooms. The cabin has very level access ) There is a patio area outside with propane BBQ (summer only) for some  outdoor living space.

**There is also a remodeled 2 bedroom/1 bath on the property that can be rented as well. The name of the property is "The Foursome Cabin."

For larger groups and family reunions, the Hill Remodeled Cabin with Hot Tub  and The Fairway Cabin are all 5-7 houses away.

This vacation rental properties is fully equipped with free high speed wireless internet, linens, bath towels (equal to the maximum occupancy of the house), pots/pans, dishes, microwave, Keurig coffee marker, blender, toaster, TV with cable/YouTube TV service, and barbecue (only usable in the summer). The house will also provide a starter set of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.

Check in was clear and easy. Everything was clean and tidy, but even though other reviews kept mentioning how small it was, we were still surprised just how small. Nevertheless , we had just about everything we needed. We were thankful for the heater because it worked great in the cold weather.

The cottage was sparkling clean (we’ve stayed there before). We love staying with Agate bay as they are very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, this time there was a fire that blanketed Kings Beach in smoke so my husband and I had to leave. Agate Bay gave us a refund for all time not used with no problem at all. We love you Agate Bay! Keep up the great customer service!!!!!

This little gem is just what you need to enjoy those dog walks to the beach!! The parklike setting is very fun and even though very small, this is a great place to come after long walks with my dog and sit and enjoy the beautiful old pines from the deck chairs.

It’s a really good cabin in a really good area! The beach is literally at a walking distance and there are lots of activities in the area and lots to see when walking around! Overall it’s a really good stay regardless if it’s for a whole month or for a few days! It’s also very personal and the restroom has some nice hot water and the kitchen has a lot of potential for making all kinds of foods!

Great location, clean but VERY small cottage. It is a renovated smallish 1-car garage with no real room to move around (let alone cook) and a shower that is barely usable if you are of normal size. One offset is a nice shared lot where we were fortunate to meet some great neighbors.

This cabin was beautiful and very clean in a wonderful location. Just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Take into account that it is a small cabin but very good for just a couple. The host was amazing and very accommodating. 10/10 will be back

Great little spot for a couple (and pup). The small kitchenette is sufficient for all your breakfast and snacking needs, and the proximity to restaurants, 24 hr grocery store, beach, and shops was incredible. Felt super clean and check-in and out was seamless. Would definitely recommend for people who don’t need a huge space and plan on spending the majority of their time out and about exploring the lake.

It’s a cute little space near the lake. You can’t beat the location, but it’s tight if you’re there with a partner and a dog. It’s close to the grocery store, restaurants, and a golf course, which was nice for morning walks.

The cabin is very cute and cozy and has (almost) everything you need for a short stay. There are plenty of bedding, pillows, towels, and kitchen utensils/cookware. The location is very central as well -- 2 min from Safeway, 3-5 min from the town/restaurants, 5 min from a great hiking trail, and about 20 min from Truckee/Sand Harbor. The only missing thing is a table to work and/or eat from.

This cabin is in a prime location to the lake, food and the grocery store. It is tucked back in a quiet little neighborhood. The cabin itself was so cute and quaint. We loved our stay here. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in this area.

Right on the golf course so it’s nice and quiet and a place to lay your head for the night. Close to lots of hikes and places to go visit if you are from out of town.

Excellent location for a visit to North side of Tahoe. So close to town, we walked to get Pizza from Whitecaps (best pizza ever!) and to breakfast over at Brockway. We brought our bikes and biked to the beach (although it is close enough to walk to). The house itself was small, but perfect for 2 people. No oven, but all other amenities were included. Very cute and I would definitely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I loved this place. We brought his 85-pound Doberman with us and still had room to fit his crate next to the bed. The shower is fairly small but it's doable. The bed was super comfy and Netflix worked really fast. It was the perfect place for out first time visiting Lake Tahoe!

Perfect little cabin. Really comfortable for one or two people. The area is perfect - cute restaurants around as well. Kings Beach was right across the street with beautiful views. This was my first trip to Lake Tahoe and this cozy space was the perfect touch.

Great comfy little spot right on the golf course. The course restaurant is a 2 minute walk from the cabin, and the burgers were great! Theres a grill, and the propane tanks had enough in them to cook with.

This is a great cabin in a nice quiet area. Spindleshanks restaurant at the golf course is walking distance and has an amazing menu. There's a small beach you can walk to as well as a Safeway grocery store.

The place was very accurate Tom pictures and the location was great. It was close to grocery store and the beach. The ceiling is very low, so if you are 6’2 or taller. It may seem right. However, it is very cozy and feels comfortable just like you can imagine a cabin in the woods would be. Make sure you check emails before arriving. Host didn’t seem to understand the that we haven’t received the instructions how to get into cabin, and it was hard to have him resend. Overall, it was a very good experience. Good cabin, great location, and great price too for Lake Tahoe. I would stay there again. :)

This place was a great value: small, but clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and within easy walking distance of Kings Beach. As a bonus, we were literally a one-minute walk from our favorite restaurant, Spindleshanks. This was our first visit to Lake Tahoe, and if we're able to return (as we hope), we'll look to this property first.

Very nice quite area. Walking distance to restaurants, and the lake. However, if you are 6ft tall or more I would not recommend. Ceilings are not standard height. Other than that cute little place, was enough space to fit a large dog kennel.

What a fantastic experience! From the very start this place felt like home. The hosts prepared everything perfectly - we had just exactly what we needed to have a relaxing week away. The location is ideal for experiencing the best of Tahoe, and we will definitely look the Hole-In-One Cabin up again for a return trip. Perfect for a quiet romantic getaway.

The location in Kings Beach right next to Safeway and on the golf course could not have been better, and the bed was so comfortable (FLANNEL SHEETS for winter) we almost stayed another day just so we could sleep in it again! Cute little cabin in a great location! The cabin is small, but great for a couple and a dog. As stated in other reviews the ceiling is low. My husband is 6’ and he only had a few inches of clearance. The kitchen is small, but totally manageable. We were able to make yummy chili for dinner with all of the kitchen tools they provided. The check in/out process was very easy and simple as well.

This studio was absolutely perfect for an anniversary weekend get away in the snow. It is super clean and obviously remodeled but still kept the rustic, cabin feel. Perks: - Walking distance to the lake, downtown Kingsbeach, Safeway and Spindleshanks restaurant/bar (perfect for a nightcap only a 5 minute walk away) - Super effective gas heater, get's the whole place toasty in minutes - Kitchen with all the amenities: Kierug, microwave, mini-fridge, stove top, cutlery etc - The bed is AMAZING. I was out in minutes every night - Self-check in with lock box. They were nice enough to let us check in early since we ended up with no traffic into Tahoe Cons: - Shower is one of those corner stand ups. Pretty tight but it has hot water so who can complain - This only applies to a small % but the ceiling is low (guessing 6'5"). I only mention because (I found it hilarious but...) my boyfriend is 6'7" and he couldn't stand upright the whole time :D I HIGHLY recommend this place, especially if you have pups. I'll definitely book again in the future!!

This was our first time using Air bnb and we were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was adorable and there were little touches around the cabin that made it even more adorable. I am very particular about cleanliness, especially in a place where a lot of people come and go and this cabin was as clean as it possibly could have been. I loved that! The kitchen was perfect for what we wanted for this stay. It was so unbelievably cozy I could hardly get over it. I really, really wanted it to snow while we were there because it was the kind of cabin that would be fun to be stuck in during a snow storm (with a stocked fridge) but we happened to have the only 2 days out of a million that most people would have loved, no snow storm. There was a ton of snow on the ground though! The location was beautiful and there was a book that had a ton of suggestions of what to do in the area and restaurants to go to for every level of Foodie. Next time we want to stay longer so we want a full kitchen, hot tub and a deck with a great view and a beautiful stainless steel propane BBQ so we rented the main house on the property and rented the cabin we just stayed in for my parents. Perfect idea to be with the family but to still have your own space. The main house is called Foursome Cabin. It does have a bedroom with bunk beds so perfect for a family of four with little kids. We honestly couldn't have asked for anything else!! Thank you Agate Bay...see you soon!

“It was an awesome little cabin to stay in! Will definitely be returning the only thing that could be improved was a way to clean boots when there is 2ft of snow so you don’t get the rugs wet. But if you knock them off good and use the shoe tray it’s not bad.”

“Idyllic, dreamy cabin in the woods with amazing location and great kitchen. We arrived here during a snowstorm so it was so nice to have parking on site and not have to park in the street. Check in was super easy - we arrived at night so this was so helpful. The cabin is so cute and the kitchen is so nice and updated. My boyfriend is 6'4" and the ceiling was a little low for him, only a few inches between his head and the ceiling when he was standing straight up. But it felt perfect for me! We would gladly stay here again.”

Super cozy cabin! Perfect for a couples weekend away. The lake is literally just down the road and you’re close to Safeway and the other shops and restaurants in town. It may be a bit too small if you want to bring your dog and it’s a large dog, but nevertheless it’s a comfortable stay and there’s plenty of space outside for your dog to run around. Thanks Agate! This place was exactly as described and had everything we needed and more for our couple vacay! The location was ideal, quiet, and within walking distance to North Tahoe Beach and many restaurants, not to mention the nearest grocery store is right around the corner. The bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the remote controlled electric stove, it was perfect for when nights got a little chilly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend for couples!

Excellent cabin in north Lake Tahoe. The location is ideal as a base for exploring the area. Besides being across the street from Kings Beach, you're able to be in Truckee, Tahoe City or Incline Village within 20 minutes. The check-in was super easy with a simple lock box on the door. The owner was super responsive to all of our needs and even brought us a new heater! There's a dedicated spot directly next to the cabin so there's no worry with finding parking or street parking restrictions. I think the cabin is ideal for a couple traveling but may be a little tight for more than 2 people.

This place is super cute, and at a great location! We loved being close to Safeway, and to Kings Beach. The space is tiny, but very comfortable! It has a pretty small kitchen space, but it had just enough so you can make your own meals and help save a little extra money. If you like to golf, definitely a great place to stay as you are walking distance to the course. Had a great vacation, and would definitely recommend to friends or family who are planning to visit the Tahoe Vista/Kings Beach area.

Lovely cabin for a cozy weekend at the lake. Communication was quick and efficient. Cabin was very clean and well equipped and is located a 10 minutes walk from Kings Beach. There is a Safeway close by.

Cute, clean, and a great weekend getaway! This cottage was perfect for our needs (2 people). The place is very close to King’s Beach and is walking distance to many great restaurants, beaches, grocery stores (Safeway nearby), and a cute mini golf place! The place comes with all the amenities you need for a weekend getaway (small kitchenette) and cozy living room area. Highly recommend! Thank you for being a great host. The space was clean, spacious, and very cute! It was great to walk into town and I could not have picked a better place to stay! Thank you so much!

This cozy cabin is great! Located in a beautiful, quiet, friendly neighborhood, we walked our dog around every morning. Between the kitchenette and the BBQ we made most of our meals in. A short walk to the lake, shops and restaurants in King's Beach.

The cabin is cute but the customer service is terrible and the host has some type of mental instability and chose to send me harassing emails after my checkout. Also, be prepared for the toilet to clog easily. Previous other guests have complained about this but the host denies accountability for the poor plumbing system. I would recommend staying somewhere else due to the unprofessionalism of the host. Give your money to a better person.

Considering you are the only guest to clog the toilet, I'm not sure it is a plumbing issue. Your review is interesting considering you put the wrong key back in the lockbox, so the housekeeper and the next guest could not get in the cabin without a handyman running to get the correct one in the lockbox along with you leaving the dirty plunger in the dirt. What is probably worse is your mindset that neither is a big deal. You are not the type of guest we really want to have in our cabins.

I stayed here with my husband over an impromptu Tahoe trip. The location was amazing, an the cottage was absolutely adorable for two people looking to get away. We were walking distance to the Safeway, dining, and most of what we wanted to do. We're already planning a winter trip back with intentions of staying here again!
