Eagles Perch Cabin

Our stay was wonderful. Thanks to the Agate Bay people. You were great, kind and helpful. I would definitely stay at this home again. We stayed thru the 2024 Snow Blizzard and had a blast. We lost power for 17 hours but the home retained it's heat quite well and the fire place did the rest. We enjoyed a visit from a Bald Eagle one day and understood why they call it Eagle's Perch. Fantastic view of the lake and good neighborhood. The house had all we needed and then some. Thanks for the good times and great memories!!

Would definitely stay here again! The house was clean, and everything was well thought out and communicated. Great location and the view was fabulous!

Easy check-in streets were plowed. Cabin was very comfortable. Nice great room comfortable chairs nice deck although we didn’t use it because it was winter. Insane view of the lake picture perfect stay. Had a couple of dogs they loved running around very very close to Safeway and shopping. No more than 10 minutes. here’s a tip eat at the old post office Café for breakfast locals love it and for good reason!

The sun rises and sets were awesome, the view is fantastic. Definitely would go back. The kitchen is dated and small, but is has everything you need in abundance.

It has been four years since my wife and I took a breather from our everyday life hassles, and we just needed to get away from it all. Carnelian Bay was a perfect getaway place to relax and have some down time, plus share it with our dog. Highly recommended environment for convenience and received professionalism from property management. We hope to revisit again.

We absolutely loved our stay! We couldn’t get enough of the beautiful lake view! We soaked in the view as we relaxed on the deck, lounged in the living room, and even through the kitchen window while cooking! Clean, comfortable, and everything you need! We can’t wait for our next stay there!

This place is better than the pictures. Spacious living area - great deck. Kitchen is outdated but things worked fine. I would come back for sure, great location, recommend staying here!

We can confirm what other reviewers said: The place is beautiful, sparkling clean and set up with love and care. The location is fantastic with a full view of the lake rendered special with a few trees. The renting process was very smooth. And I have probably never rented a place with a really clean bbq :) Whatever we needed for meals, we eventually found. We loved the proximity to a public beach where dogs are allowed and started our days with a little visit there before breakfast--a quiet, welcome oasis. Unfortunately some neighbors' dog(s?) seemed a little unsupervised and barky into the night but eventually stopped. We love Lake Tahoe and I will try to stay at this place again in the future.

Great spot to enjoy lake tahoe

Eagle Perch was an excellent getaway for my family and friends. The layout of the home was perfect for my two kids to sleep downstairs in the bunk beds while the rest of us were able to enjoy each others company and clean up later in the evening without waking them up. The view of the lake was spectacular from many rooms including the pop out window above the kitchen sink. Agate Bay Realty was a pleasure to communicate with and extremely responsive.

Gorgeous view and perfect location. We know Tahoe well and knew that when you’re that close to the lake and able to enjoy this view, you have to compromise and accept that there will be noise from the traffic. However we honestly underestimated how loud it would be as the noise travels upward. We have witnessed amazing sunrises and sunsets and will cherish those memories but I could not possibly say those were peaceful … The house is very well equipped and stocked, and beds are super comfortable. But everything is dated and needs a deep cleaning. The carpet especially needs to be replaced. There are some pretty obvious pet stains all over the living room that took away from us being able to fully enjoy the house. We had a great time though and the view made up for a lot of it for sure.

We highly recommend staying here. The pictures of the lake view don’t do it justice. It in a beautiful location and the deck is the perfect spot to hangout and enjoy the view.

This home was lovely the views from the windows were great as well as the sun deck and the surrounding area was quite private and felt very homey great home would definitely come back !

We had beautiful, snowy weather and the view of the lake with the snow on the trees was stunning! The cabin was well equipped with ample cooking, dining amenities, extra blankets, wood for the fireplace including a collection of fun toys/games for young children. The dogs loved playing in the snow around the cabin. Having an enclosed deck area outside the living room and kitchen was an added bonus. The only recommendation would be for new mattresses to be added to the master bedroom upstairs and to the room downstairs adjacent to the Bunk Bed room. The bunk bed mattresses and in the other downstairs room were outstanding! We hope to stay again at the Eagle’ Nest sometime during the summer months!

The pictures don’t do it justice. It has retro charm and the views are breath taking. Watching the sunset with a roaring fire was the perfect way to spend a winters evening. Everything is close by and it was perfect for kids and dogs. We can’t wait to all come back again. Don’t hesitate to book this home, it a dreamy Lake Tahoe getaway.

This is a great place for a summer vacation - the house, neighborhood, and surrounding area. We spent a lot of time on the deck, enjoying the amazing views. The neighborhood is great for walking and bike-riding. There are lots of beaches and activities within a short drive and plenty of restaurants. My family all agreed that we would love to return.

An immaculate view, breath-taking really! The location is wonderful. Especially if you're a dog owner like us. It's very close to a lovely dog beach! There's a lot of beautiful original wood furniture pieces around the home. Mostly though you'll stare at the view all day long!

This is the perfect house in the perfect location for anyone wanting to take advantage of all that Lake Tahoe offers. This house has fantastic views of the lake, and has a warm and inviting feel that makes everyone feel welcome. Spacious and clean, with all the right amenities and 'touches' you will be glad you selected this house. We are looking forward to coming back!

We LOVED our time here and the home was like staying in my best friends cabin for a week. The home had every creature comfort you could hope for, including a well stocked kitchen! There was plenty of room for the four of us to spread and (and we did not even use 4 of the beds.) The deck and the views were simply perfect and breathtaking. We cannot wait to come back again!!!

Amazing lake view, very lively place and great location. But hot water is not enough for more than 3 people taking shower. Other than that everything is perfect.

This cabin was absolutely beautiful! Hosts are very understanding and reply usually very fast. Amenities provided were a huge plus! Overall great stay!

Clean house, amazing view. Direction tip: during the winter you can only access the house from Sahara Dr, then turn onto Nile Rd. Your GPS may say to turn on Agate to get to Nile Rd but it's closed when there is snow.

The highlight of Eagles Perch is the gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. You won't want to leave! The home is decorated nicely and makes you feel at home. Plenty of space for a 6-person family for one week. The management company provides the essentials to get you started, like paper towels and dish soap. Plenty of dishes for a large family. Grocery store and lots of restaurants are nearby within a 5 to 10 minute drive. The North Tahoe Regional Park (5 min drive) has sledding and playgrounds for kids. We only had one issue: the washing machine broke. However, the management company quickly scheduled a technician and the repair was completed the next day. Be aware that this property is actually a 3-bedroom house - a hallway space in the basement is used as the 4th bed area. Therefore, you have to walk through the space with the bunk beds to get to the 3rd bedroom. Also, the bunk beds are in the same space as the washer/dryer - this may impact kids sleeping on the bunk beds. This setup was fine for a single family, but might not work for multiple families.

Our stay at Eagles Perch was super magical. The views of the lake are super special and sunset was an event for us every evening. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, the furniture is comfortable, it's a quiet space to work (internet is strong!!) and the bbq works great. Thanks again for the excellent stay. I hope we can come back one day.

The Eagle Perch in Carnelian Bay was a much needed retreat for us and we fully soaked up the serenity that this home offered. It was truly difficult to leave. The view is mesmerizing - we spent hours just sitting at the table overlooking the lake. The kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance or utensil you could ask for. The bed was nice and firm, with super plush bedding. The original 70 finishes throughout really add to the old Tahoe charm we were hoping for. We definitely hope to be back soon - maybe in the summer!

The view at this house is absolutely unbeatable. Huge windows upstairs overlook the lake. It also had a stunning fireplace. House was a little dated though. Seemed like 1970s furniture and oven.

Cannot beat the location! Cabin included an outdoor patio with a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe. Kitchen was too small for the number of people we had and the trash bin was completely full the day we’d arrived, which made cleaning up a pain. Overall a decent place for a decent price if you have a large group.

Absolutely breathtaking and beautiful view from inside the house and the patio view was amazing. My family loved everything about our stay. My chef son-in-law was very impressed with how well stocked the kitchen and pantry was! We had a wonderful 45th Anniversary trip with our family here at Eagles Perch!

The space was beautiful, open and had amazing views of the lake and mountains. There was everything you would need and more including a keurig for coffee. The view was breathtaking. The beds were large and had comfortable bedding and pillows. The communication between the realty company and myself was outstanding. I had to cancel and rebook last minute and it went better than expected. I would recommend this rental to friends and family. It was 15-20 mins from Kings Beach (very clean beach) and close to a lot of amazing trails. It also about 40 minutes to South Lake Tahoe for reference.

Nothing beats the view in this spacious home... very comfortable! Would absolutely stay here again!

This place was absolutely beautiful! Would definitely stay here again, maybe next time in the summer to see what the lake looks like without the snow. The driveway can be treacherous in the winter so make sure you have a plan if you don’t have 4WD.

Amazing views of the lake! Great place for large group. And great with kids and dogs (the cabin is almost at the end of a dead end street, so there is almost no cross traffic at all). Located close to Northstar and Kings Beach. Safeway and snow park for sledding 7mins away. Available firewood was a cozy touch. During winter carry chains if you have front wheel drive - one of our cars couldn't get out of the driveway without it.

Great spot with a nice view of the lake. We stayed with a group of 9 and it was very comfy. There was an epic snowstorm the 2nd night and a snowblower service dug us out fairly quick.

Amazing location on a secluded street away from main road. Very close to a North Star and grocery store. Super clean and had everything we needed. We cooked every night and never once did we not have something we needed. Very cozy, lots of Tahoe charm and plan to stay again.

Wow - what a view! The positioning of the house is perfect and the view of the lake is the main feature. We grilled on the deck each evening (and enjoyed breakfast out there too!) Would stay again without hesitation.

You don’t need to pack that much. This house is very well prepared for your trip. It was a really nice staying. It is way better than pictures.

It was extremely easy to deal with Agate Bay, the were always responsive when we had questions, check-in was the smoothest ever and they also allowed us to keep the house (without charge) for an extra hour when our flight had been delayed. Highly recommended.

We had a great 3days weekend. The cabin was super clean, very comfy and perfect for our 2 families. The location is perfect to explore what Lake Tahoe has to offer. Our kids loved it as well. We will definitely come back

Beautiful cabin. The view was gorgeous, and it was very close to local shops, while giving the feeling of complete privacy. It is always difficult to find a pet-friendly place that has every amenity. This place hit it all.

The house was a great getaway for our group. It has fantastic views of the lake and was relatively easy to find. Will very much look at renting the house out if I'm in the area again.

We had an amazing stay at this house. It felt secluded even though it was conveniently located and in a residential neighborhood close to stores, restaurants, skiing, sledding etc. The view was outstanding. The beds were comfortable and we loved the woods in back of the house.
