So quiet, clean and cozy. We absolutely will return.

All was as described and we had a fabulous time.

Living in San Francisco makes it easy to spontaneously hop in the car and head to Tahoe. We’ve stayed at many places over the years, and this home was one of the best. Comfortable master bed with nice bedding, fully stocked kitchen, great room with fireplace, large dining table, and wonderful view of the lake. We have two large dogs who love the snow—and for this reason we like homes that feel livable vs luxurious and precious. The location is also ideal because it’s close to a few different mountains.

It’s true that this place is a little rustic, but in a good way. It had everything we needed to cook. Location is great. About 20 mins from Palisades (without traffic) and about 8 mins to the park and ride shuttle in Tahoe City.

We enjoyed a quiet stay over the holidays with family. Spacious layout with plenty of room for board games and puzzles. Close to everything from ski resorts to cafes. We loved our stay!

Will love to rent this location again. This was a quite, quick getaway for 2 at this time. Can’t wait to bring my whole family with us. The house was clean and seemed to have everything we needed. The house is very well put and clean, kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Lovely high ceilings and fire pit we enjoyed the cozy feel. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it. Thank you so much for hosting us Love &Light

Great location for a small family trip out with our dog. You are able to see the lake from the large front windows, and all the beds were quite comfortable!

We really enjoyed our time at Agate Bay . it was very spacious, comfortable, in a great location near hikes and dog friendly beaches. Evenings at the outdoor patio were awesome. I would definitely recommend.

It was a nice place with great views and plenty of space for 8 people. Very nice neighborhood very peaceful. We had a wonderful trip and would stay again.

The place was exactly as described. Very roomy for a family of four. Beds and linens were comfortable. And location is close to Tahoe City shops, restaurants and grocery store.

Great house! Our family loved the baby foot table :) Kitchen is functional, could use a little more plates bowls etc (right now the amount of dishes is the minimum for one meal for a big group). Beautiful view of the lake, peaceful neighborhood and close to Tahoe City. Looking forward to our next stay at this cabin :)

We had a great stay in the cabin. It is the quintessential Tahoe cabin. Great location and close to everything.

Kitchen was VERY equipped, didn’t have to use any of my own utensils. Lots of towels, sheets, and blankets available. The bathrooms were a bit outdated but that didn’t matter, after all we spent most of our time in the living room and kitchen not in the bathroom lol Great place for our family of 8!! Totally recommend!!

The house and especially the terrace is absolutly great! We had an amazing family time in Tahoe City. We had a lot of snow mid May, so bring with you also warm clothes.

Beautiful house with an amazing view! The management company was not very responsive. When we arrived there wasn’t toilet paper and we couldn’t figure out the kitchen lights. The company did eventually send someone out for the lights who was very kind, but we ended up buying TP on our next grocery run. Later we noticed the TV is broken but didn’t bother reaching out. Who needs a TV with those views! Incredible neighborhood, very walkable to an amazing beach. I’d stay again.

There is literally nothing bad to say about the cabin it just everything you see in pics and it actually even more beautiful in person. Lots of blankets and plenty of space. Host is awesome!! The only thing is that food places near by are not that great, you have to drive about 15 mins for better options & everything closes fairly early. That not a big deal of course but that was the only thing about the location. Other than that there is plenty of convenience stores around so that was a plus! :) I DEF RECOMMEND!!

Its a very rustic house that does need updating of furniture. Its a beautiful setup but remodeling some things and adding newer furniture would make this place amazing. It a great location Very disappointed about the cleanliness of the house.

Much more rustic then we imagined. The space is laid out great. It feels like your staying at your great aunts house in the Midwest.

Super spacious and in the perfect part of Tahoe! Added bonus: the beds are really big!

This house was perfect for our young family. We really enjoyed the open floor plan, and the giant windows with view of the lake. Everything was in good condition. The house is older, but that didn't bother us, as everything was in nice condition and worked well. The water heater that other guests complained about in the reviews, has been replaced and we had no issues with it. There was plenty of hot water. The rental agency is great and very responsive. We didn't find out until close to arrival that the fireplace did not work, and we wished that the listing had said this, so we didn't get our hopes up about getting to have a cozy warm fire in the fireplace. We spent Thanksgiving here, and the kitchen had every pot, pan, utensil, gadget, etc that we needed. It was very well supplied for a rental, and the cookware was high quality. I am a personal chef, and I actually had brought along with me a lot of supplies from home i needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner, just in case the house didn't have something I needed. The only thing i ended up using of my own was my chef knife! We also loved the location and neighborhood. It was a 5 min drive to the center of Tahoe City with a cute walkable downtown and good restaurants. The house was in a quiet, nice neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Overall this was a great house for us and we had a great stay. It is not recently updated, or high end, but a very nice authentic Tahoe style house in very good condition, and with a great floor plan for families.

Great spot. Super spacious. Awesome deck with views of the lake. The pool with playground abs private beach/ lake access were so great. Our family loved this place.

Great location with fantastic views from the deck and with access to the beach and lake just a ten minutes walk away. Very well equipped family home with lots of extras. Good swimming pool and tennis courts on site (though note that there will be an additional charge of $10 per person per day for use of the facilities from the end of June 2019, which ups the overall price considerably).

Dollar Point Lookout was lovely. We enjoyed our stay there. Beds were very comfy. Hot water ran out incredibly quickly, which was disappointing. We also could not find an area where we could walk to the water, but the location is so close and the view is absolutely beautiful!

Had a lovely stay at this beautiful mountain style Tahoe chalet. Simply amazing environment in this beautiful mountain community. Partial view of Lake Tahoe from the living room. Magnificent view of Lake Tahoe as you walk around the community. Quiet and Serene. And for our group from the city, we were amazed at the beautiful starlit night. Short drive to the nearby Town. Home is well stocked with utensils and soap and other amenities. Furniture was comfortable if a little dated. Decorations also somewhat dated, but somehow appropriate for the cabin feel. Some challenge with enough hot water for our large group, but was manageable.

Our stay here was a wonderful experience, our family spent our Spring break here. Our cabin was in the perfect location, close to town, cross country skiing, and much more. We felt completely at home here, I would suggest it to anyone looking to have a great time!

Great place to spend a weekend, gorgeous view too!

This house is a great value for a weekend getaway with a group in Tahoe. We did have a lot of issues with the hot water (2 min showers will be needed) and overall cleanliness of the place. In addition pack additional toilet paper as this was not included.

Host was quick to respond, home was beautiful and clean, and check-in was easy. A beautiful home that I would definitely recommend.

This cabin is great! Spacious dining area with nice furniture. Cozy sofa for friends to hang out, and there's fireplace too. It very comfortable to sleep 6. The sofa bed is very nice and clean. I am very happy with the accommodation. Accident happens, the first night we got there, the entire area had blackout, we were using fireplace and wrapped ourselves in blankets to stay warm. Luckily power came back before midnight, so we could sleep with heater on. The other thing is the hot water tank is very small. We need to take quick shower in turns and need to wait half an hour in between for water to reheat. So be aware of the hot water situation. Overall, my friends and I had a great stay here.

Charming and cosy, an amazing location and a truly comfortable spot. We had an amazing get away into a winter wonderland!

Great place! Side note: Be careful when traveling when it snowing. We had a chain break on the driveway and no company would come help because they don’t like the hills in Dollar Point.

Overall great place to stay, quick response from host, plenty of spaces for our group of 5 and 1 dog. We would definitely recommened the place to our friends.

We had a fantastic stay here! The entire cabin is large and very comfortable for three couples and a dog to stay at. The communication was quick and they were very kind to extend the place an extra day at a discounted rate for us due to the blizzard! We would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again (hopefully this summer!).

Beautiful place couldn’t have been happier with the area as well. Super close to the lake and there were many nearby stores about 5 min away. Place was super clean and the hosts were always great about replying to us fast. Totally worth it.
