Lodgepole Lair

Beautiful place sits at the center of Tahoe city. The house has been carefully maintained and really enjoyed our stay! Will definitely come back.

So spacious, clean, quiet and cozy. We felt like home. The check-in and check-out were easy and the house looks just like the pictures show online. The only thing we would like to add is to put two curtains on the windows in the other bedroom facing the street. Everything else was great!

Great communication and instructions from the host. Very good location close to town and lake. Hope to come back in the winter and will look for this home again.

Lovely home in a great location. Easy walk to restaurants and lake (though the walk back is steep!). Very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very responsive. Check in and out were easy and clear. We loved Tahoe.

This is a great spot for 4 people. The location for Tahoe City is great very walkable to the mian part of Tahoe City close the restaurants, grocery, shops, and lake shore. Host is very communicative and made the whole process very smooth.

Very comfortable, easy to access cabin near all things Tahoe City. Agate Bay was very communicative and gave excellent advice on what to bring (shampoo, etc), and provided great suggestions on things to do/places to go/where to eat.

We had a great time in Tahoe City. House was nice and located walking distance to stores and restaurants. Kids also loved the basketball hoop.

We enjoyed our stay here. The listing details were accurate and the home was roomy and comfy. The communication with the management company was fantastic. The location of the house is very close to restaurants and shops. Would love to come back to this rental again.

The place was really lovely. Comfortable, pleasant rooms with a lot of light in the upstairs bedroom. The kitchen was helpfully stocked with spices and oils, plus dishware and cooking supplies, which make cooking easy. Great location.

Loved our stay at this cozy cabin in Tahoe City! Bigger than expected, updated amenities, had everything we needed and in a great location! Our favorite part was the heated bathroom floors and wood stove! Hope to stay again.

This place is simply adorable. Fabulous location and cozy home.

The house was both spacious and cozy, nicely furnished. The kitchen is a little tight for a gaggle of cooks, but everything you need is there. We stayed over a weekend with a snow storm, and the plough came through well before it was time to head to the mountain to ski. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I had a great time staying here. This airbnb included an easy check in. It had living like a local neighborhood feel to it. Our favorite part was how easy it was to walk to the water, restaurants and shops. We loved it being Pet friendly too! The place was comfortable, clean and had everything you needed in the kitchen. We would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great stay here! Walkable to everything going on in Tahoe City and the lake, cute cabin with lots of amenities and beautiful surroundings.

We loved this property for a 5-day stay! Check-in was very easy and once we stepped inside, it was immediately clear the owner had executed a very high-quality renovation with great attention to detail. I had to work remotely during the week and the upper loft provided a wonderful little office space with solid wifi throughout the entire stay. Location was perfect as we were less than 10 min from everything in town, including the marina where we took a boat out on the lake. Also super close to Jake's on the Lake & Christy Hill which were both excellent dinner options. I was a huge fan of the amenities especially the heated bathroom floor, spacious well-lit shower, and comfy king bed. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay for our little snowboarding vacation. Easy 15~20 minutes drive to either Alpine base or Palisades base. House is clean and spacious for 3 of us. Water pressure was not very strong on the second floor bathroom.

Cabin feels really well constructed and is super close to the lake. Craftsman touches throughout the home, and comfortable beds.

The house is great and nicely designed with beautiful views. We would choose to come back again. Agate Bag Realty was responsive to our questions.

We loved our stay here. We traveled during a winter storm and received a call from Agate inquiring if we were able to make it due to the circumstances - very proactive and thoughtful. Once we got to our stay, the house was perfect! A great place to stay with friends/family while on a ski trip.

This house is perfectly located walking distance (if conditions allow) to all that Tahoe city has to offer and is only about a mile away from the free bus station that can take you up to the mountains in the area. I would highly recommend preparing for the weather as its not easy to get around unless you have a vehicle that's better suited for the thick snow/icy patches on the road. While in Tahoe we were hit by about 2' of snow overnight and throughout the following day which made travel more difficult but we were incredibly pleased to come home after a long day of skiing to a completely cleaned and cleared driveway and walking path to our front door. Overall the house was incredible and although we just had 2 people staying it would be perfect for a family vacation with plenty of room to relax while at the house. Everything was clean when we arrived and we couldn't have been happier with our stay! I highly recommend this listing and it will be the first I check for next trip to Tahoe

It was the perfect location that was walking distance to the lake, restaurants, etc. and short driving distance to Palisades for skiing. The heated bathroom floors upstairs was a nice touch! The host was also very responsive and provided recommendations in the area. Will definitely come back for future trips in summer & winter.

It a great getaway vacation for us. Easy to find and the place is clean. Walkable to the town and you will find a great selection of restaurants.

Great place that is larger than it looks in photos. Really cozy and easily fit two couples and two kids. The hill to town is steep but walkable.

We enjoyed every bit of the house. It was super clean and everything was exactly as listed. It was a perfect place for us to relocate for the week to work, relax, enjoy hikes and the overall beauty of Tahoe. We will be back! Thank you.

The house was perfect for our one week late summer / early fall trip. Just a short walk from the amenities of Tahoe City. View of the lake from the living room window. Cozy wood burning stove in the family room. Met all our needs and more!

This is a gorgeous house in a great location that walkable to shops, restaurants, and the lake. We stayed for a week and made good use of the kitchen, claw foot tub, puzzles, and had no problem with the internet while working remotely. Lots of good quality towels and a very comfortable bed, too! The house felt like home and we really enjoyed our visit!

Walked into town everyday and really enjoyed our time in Tahoe City.

Beautifully updated and luxurious feeling to this little house by the lake. Comfortable couch and beds. A little warm in the summer but nothing the cool night air couldn’t fix with a few windows open. We really enjoyed ordering some take out and eating together at the large dining table then watching a movie together on the couch after a long hike.

Close to town. You can walk everywhere. Very nice layout.

A spacious cabin a short walk downhill to Tahoe City. Plenty of places to relax and easy off-street parking. Good wifi connectivity. Surprised there was no shampoo/soap for showering, so remember to bring your own.

We were looking for a lovely, cozy place to spend a few days in the mountains in the snow, and this home did not disappoint. It was wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Great house and location. House looks just like the pictures. Bedrooms are a good size. Loft only accessible thru master bedroom. Was very comfortable. Kitchen is small but has all the amenities/appliances. Overall a great place.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay here. We arrived during a snowstorm, so was thankful for the easy check-in. The house was very clean, kitchen well stocked with supplies. The house was spacious enough for our kids to remote learn. Great location to local shops and restaurants (all walkable) and less than 15 minute drive to Squaw/Alpine. The washer was not working during our stay, but prop management was very responsive to our emails.

The location was great, easy to get to town and to the ski resorts. I would suggest bringing a Roku or HDMI cord if you want to stream movies or shows. The wood stove is great, but very small so a way to cut down your firewood would also be key. The house was comfortable for our group of 4 and had room to spare for a few more. Bring your basic kitchen staples like olive oil, spices and butter! Neat neighborhood and nice views of the lake and trees.
