Idlewood Cabin

Excellent location in Carnelian Bay and the home is beautifully remodeled - the furnishings were clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything you needed to cook at home. Host was very thorough and the entire check-in, stay, and check-out was extremely easy and convenient. Highly recommend this home if you're looking for a north lake stay in Tahoe!

This place is exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for. A quiet and peaceful getaway with our 2 dogs. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely make reservations again for next time

Our trip was fantastic! It was the perfect size for two young families with toddlers. Single story home and just enough space + minimal furnitures to keep them safe. We had a great time staying here.

My 3 young adult kids and I found everything we needed at this cabin. Lots of room to relax, a little lake view from the front deck, and a 10 minute walk to the lake. The hill is steep, but the street is pretty! There was a heat wave the whole week we were there, but 4 big fans helped us . I would recommend this cabin!

My friends and I wanted to get away to celebrate my upcoming wedding and this was the perfect location! The house was clean, stocked with all the amenities needed, and had beautiful views. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of space for us. Our host was extremely nice and understanding and wonderful to work with.

The home was absolutely beautiful! Freshly remodeled and it’s cozy as well as modern! Furniture was very comfortable and there was plenty of space. The host was very responsive and friendly! The location is easy to find and easy to park in. Accessing the house was a breeze and they have so many helpful tips around the house. We felt right at home. I’m glad we were able to make lasting memories in this beautiful cabin.

The Airbnb looked better than the photos! Great bedrooms with plenty of space and comfortable beds, the kitchen was beautiful, and the hot tub was the perfect way to end the night. Had plenty of towels and beach towels for our group of 6. Only thing that was slightly odd was that one of the bathrooms didn't have body wash in the shower and the other one didn't have shampoo. Overall, would stay here again!

This was a perfect place to get out of town to for a few days! Tahoe is always beautiful....the cabin was great for our needs and appreciate the opportunity to bring our furry friend along for the trip. I will be keeping this location in my favorites for next time! Thank you!

This rental was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. It was bigger than expected, cozy and full of wonderful surprises and nice aesthetic touches. Highly recommend!

Perfect cabin to getaway for the weekend with my family. Easily fit 4 adults, two young kids, and a large dog. We loved the fireplace, hot tub, and space available for our family. We also found the primary suite bed to be comfortable. Location is great as close to Tahoe city, kings beach, incline village, and Truckee. Would definitely stay here again!

Our only suggestion was that the TV was smaller than we would have liked for the size of the room and sitting distance.

The cabin was beautiful and perfectly suited our needs. It was clean and well-appointed. The living and dining areas were spacious and more than enough for our group of 2 adults and 2 teens. It is not super modern, but that’s not really what we were looking for. It had a good homey feel, but many of the drawers, doors, windows, and dishwasher were squeaky. This place was great for us, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend!

Beautiful home. Had everything you need to set up house. You do need to buy condiments when you go shopping. The fridge is empty. We loved the area. Beautiful walking and restraunts, beaches close by. The hot tub was wonderful. Agate was very helpful within minutes regarding any questions and even brought us extra fans. We had a lovely time and would love to go back!

Overall a really great place and a great experience! Would recommend it - especially for the proximity to Palisades Tahoe. Due to no fault of the host, the place smelled like smoke as previous clients must not have opened the flue to the fireplace when they tried to start a fire. It's understandable that this smell is difficult to remove completely. We also wanted to watch a movie on Friday night via a streaming service but apparently, all of Lake Tahoe was doing the same so we could not get a movie to load until very late in the evening. Minor inconveniences as we were there mainly to ski and sleep. The location of this residence to the mountain was second to none. Great place!

A very comfortable and spacious cabin, very clean upon arrival, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, modern and bright furnishings. Lovely hiking trails at the top of the street, and easy drive to Tahoe City and Truckee.

Wonderful house all around. Clean. Comfortable. Had an excellent weekend gateaway. Cant wait to come back for a longer stay!

Great home !! I highly recommend. Aside from being a beautiful home, it was extremely clean & well organized. Hot tub was the best. The location is great & super quiet. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to go on a peaceful gateway!

The whole cabin was equipped with everything one would need in their stay. It had clean towels for the jacuzzi and a nicely equipped kitchen with all the tools needed for cooking. The jacuzzi was our favorite part of the whole cabin it was a nice thing to come home after a long day hiking to relax. It was clean and was easy to set up to your likings. When we first arrived the cabin was a bit warm and had only one fan in the master bedroom. However, we contacted the host and they were nice enough to send over two new fans for our use. We had brought our pet bulldog on our trip and the cabin was close to a beautiful pet friendly beach with a nice coffee shop. We were extremely happy to be close to this beach and avoided traffic.

We had a great stay, home was just as described. Included many home essentials. The only thing was there was only 1 table fan & the windows and screens had spiderwebs. I would definitely stay again.
