Gordon is an extremely comfortable, homey and kid friendly cabin. While it certainly isn't fancy, if you are looking to walk right in and feel at home, Gordon is for you. We enjoyed its no-nonsense decor (great for kids), abundance of windows (can be dark if you want to sleep in but brightens right up when blinds are open). The bathrooms are functional and clean, but a little rustic and could use some upgrading. Honestly, we live in the City and Gordon brings just about the right amount of rustic, Tahoe cabin style, while still affording all of the ammenities needed for a family. Thanks for a nice time.

The Gordon cabin was the perfect place to stay for our vacation. The weather was perfect as it's always perfect. The Gordon cabin is one of the last true cabin's of Lake Tahoe and is so comfortable, peaceful and homey. The living room has very comfortable furniture and so relaxing on while sitting in front of the big fire place with a roaring fire. The deck furniture is very pretty and made a great place to congregate with family and friends especially during breakfast. Each bedroom has its own definition (master bedroom, guest room, kids' bedroom) and we could sleep all day in those beds. This cabin is located in the quietest and most calm neighborhood in North Lake Tahoe and is yards away from a walk in the Tahoe forest and a walk away from the Patton beach, Cb's Pizza (best pizza in all North Lake Tahoe) and the infamous Garwoods. If you are looking for an amazing, memorable and relaxing time in Lake Tahoe, then you must stay here. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here and we look forwarded to staying here again and again if you will have us.

We've been going to Tahoe (North and South shore) for over 20 years and this is the best place we've found for a family with pets. Very close to the pet friendly beach (walking distance). Also near miniature golf and water activities; Kayaking, paddle board or just swimming with the dogs for the kids (and adults too). The cabin has the old cabin charm but with many modern amenities (internet, cable etc.).. even though it's in a neighborhood, you still felt like you were in the woods.. very quite and quaint and in the pines. We are looking forward to coming back again in the winter..

Thank you for making our renting this cute and spacious a breeze! It was perfect for the 5 of us. It was close to everywhere we ventured out during our stay. Our dog Max, a little white english bulldog, enjoyed it too and especially the float trip down the Truckee river out of Tahoe City. It was a great weekend all the way around and we enjoyed this home very much. Thanks again!

We loved staying at the Gordon cabin. It was very homey and had everything we needed. The location was great as we loved walking to the dog beach everyday. The back balcony was were we spent a lot of time when we weren't out exploring the lake. There are so many beautiful animal noises in the back yard and my dogs loved it as much as we did!

Perfect location to Patton Beach (dog friendly beach) and fun things for the kids to do (swim, miniature golf- hiking, bike riding and 1/2 way between Tahoe City and Kings Beach for more fun stuff to do.The safe and friendly neighborhood made it feel like we were at home.The home has all the amenities needed- games, tv, internet, good books to read, washer/dryer, bar-b-q. Again a home away from home. Highly recommended to any family and family with dogs.The pet friendly beach is really a nice bonus- it's walking distance to the beach ~.5mile, or you can drive as the dogs will be tired after their swim... our dogs didn't want to leave.

Our return to the Gordon Cabin was even better than the last experience and only gets better and better. The new couch, new HDTV and high quality bedding made it much more enjoyable and homey during our stay. The beds were so comfortable, we fell right to sleep and the master bedroom has an excellent view in the early evening as when the noon rises, it shines right into the bedroom.The house sits in the best part of the neighborhood where one can walk the neighborhood or walk a few hundred yards into the forest of Tahoe. You can even sit on the front or back porch and watch the wildlife: chipmunks, birds and even deer. If anyone is looking for a perfect getaway with your spouse or even a home away from home, the Gordon Cabin IS the place to stay. Thank you again and I look forward to our next visit.

Fantastic small cabin, kitchen equipped with basic necessities and very clean. Kitchen stove was old but everything worked. We were happy and comfortable. This cabin is older and so no frills but in a great location with plenty of yard for children or dogs to run around. It is great for a couple or a family of four. Two families would be pretty tight, as there is only seating for 5 in the small living room. Open concept living area, with a deck leading out from the family room. The deck is large with a grill, a nice table, chairs and umbrella. Our stay the weather was in the upper 70's to 80. The cabin is just a walk or very short drive away from paddle boarding, kayaking, a restaurant and a nice dog friendly beach (dog beaches are hard to find in North Shore) The Property Managers did a great job of providing all the details needed for our stay to include directions and how to deal with the family of bears living in the neighborhood. We followed the directions to the letter and never had any problems. Will most certainly use this company again and plan another stay in 2016.

Great place. It really is very dog friendly and a very short walk to a beautiful dog beach. House was clean, back deck was a great gathering place. Three cars easily fit in the driveway. They even had the hot tub up and running when we arrived.

Great property! We spent few days skiing in Tahoe and we really enjoyed our stays in Gordon :-). The checkin was super simple (even if we arrived late in the night), the cabin had everything ready for us: beds, towels, hot tub, firewood etc. Great stays :-)

Open floor plan is great! Kitchen is well stocked with cookware. The oven is small, so just be aware if you're planning to do a lot of cooking. Check in was a breeze. We had a lovely time!

Great house with a great patio. Super comfy layout inside. The hot tub is fantastic. Agate Bay went above and beyond to make sure the grill was set up at the last minute for our stay. It was perfect for summer and would be perfect for winter too. Thank you so much!

The place was very nice, we just came on a real crazy weekend. I looked that you could walk to a beach. And it was very convenient area.

Great place that fit our needs! Plenty of room for kiddos and doggies. Excellent location, easy to get to beaches, Tahoe City, and Kings Beach. And beautiful trails just down the street to explore - Check out the Parcourse for a morning workout!

Great cabin in a great location. We stayed for two nights with two young children and our small dog. We enjoyed having a BBQ on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub when the kids went to bed. Great location, close to the lake, local shops and restaurants and the farmers market. Would highly recommend.

Great location in a quiet part of town. Loved the country cottage feel of this place, would definitely come back.

Amaaazzzing home. The place is spotless, and in a great location. Has everything you need plus a hot tub! Our family of 5 had plenty of space and the home has 3 bathrooms and a great hot tub!!! We will be back for sure!

Had an amazing weekend at the Gordon cabin! It's located in a quiet, but central neighborhood, just a few blocks from the lake. Everything you need is a quick drive away. The cabin is cozy but still offers enough space for a large party of 8. And the hot tub is a major bonus! Agate Bay Realty made it so easy for us to check in, and even offered us an early check-in since the cabin was vacant the night before. Well-deserved 5 stars!

This house is well stocked and comfortable. The hot tub was super clean, and the linens were good quality. Everything is labeled and clear. It's a great neighborhood with Waterman's landing, mini golf and CB's restaurant, and not as busy as Kings Beach or Tahoe City. Plus, the beach by Waterman's is dog friendly!

Great place to stay we were in town for a wedding and it was close to the reception venue! All bedrooms are up a flight of stairs which didn't bother us. Overall great experience!

This was my first trip to the lake. We walked to the dog friendly beach daily. My family found quick access to mountain biking, hiking, and good food. The hot tub was clean and used daily. Beautiful, cozy home.

We had an awesome stay. The cabin was cozy, eclectic, super comfortable for 6 people, very well stocked for cooking an entire Thanksgiving dinner. We loved it : )

The house is cute and cozy and left us feeling like we were set up for a great weekend! All of the appliances and areas were clean, the beds made... It was as turnkey as possible.

Cabin was in a great location! The place is cozy, fireplace and heater worked, it's big, and has plenty of sleeping space. The spa was perfect and they provide towels and sandals which was a very nice touch. When its snowing, bring snow chains as we got stuck. Our neighborhood seemed to be one of the few in the area that never got plowed. There was always snow on the street and the other surrounding streets seemed much better. Bring shampoo and bodywash. If you also plan to stay more than 2 days, I would suggest purchasing paper towels and napkins as they don't provide much. Other than that, it's a wonderful cabin and we would stay again!

Stayed here with my family over the new year and had a blast! The cabin has the most cozy, authentic feel and helped us feel right at home with plenty of space and room in the kitchen. It's also in a good location: close to the Lake, good skiing and snowboarding, and local food and groceries. We loved being able to bring the dogs and took them down to the Lake a few times. Lastly, the hot tub was a major plus! It was below freezing during our visit and it made it even more special to be in the snow and the hot tub at the same time!

Place was perfect and comfortable for our family vacation. As soon as we arrived we noticed right away the cleanliness of the home. Kitchen was great and we were able to easily cook our family meals . We love coffee so we were glad the home had a mr. coffee maker. The hot tub was our favorite part of the home because it was fun to use during the evening when it would get cool. There were also extra sandals for use. Plenty of cleans towels for the whole family. The washer and dryer were easy to use. Beds were comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely come back.

It's a quaint place in a quiet residential location but an easy drive to a lot of local restaurants and Lake Tahoe. Thanks for sharing it!

The cabin is a cozy place with all the amenities. You only need to pack your clothes and bring food because it has everything you need. Our stay was pleasant and just what we expected.

There are plenty of towels and enough room for 8 individuals. It was also quite close to the lake (several minutes of drive). Communication was very easy and the host also provided local tips. The only thing is the cabin was not sound proof and upstairs can hear downstairs very clearly, a bit challenging if staying with a group with different daily routines.

Love the hot tub and that it serviced in between each guest. Perfectly situated to be 10 mins from both Northstar and Squaw. Upstairs bedrooms are a bit drafty, but space heaters help and are pretty adequate with downstairs wood burning fireplace running.

The space was great, with a great deal of space in the back and plenty of room to settle in a feel relaxed even with a group of 7. Close by to a several stores, restaurants and other activities. Definitely a spot to consider if going to Tahoe, great value.

Close to the lake and tourist attractions but within a quiet subdivision. Kitchen was nicely updated and the living space was very usable. Only two things wrong/difficult with this rental: 1. The heater was located under the floor in the living room with a large 2'x3' grate on the edge of the living room that you could absolutely not walk over because it would burn your feet... We had to barricade that section off because we brought our dog. Definitely not the greatest location especially for a rental that allows pets or children. 2. The pictures show the master bathroom very accurately, it's the small square 2'x2' shower, totally doable, except for the showerhead that they've installed which doesn't let you adjust it down... so all the water hits the back wall of the shower and makes it almost unusable. I had to use the guest bathroom to wash my hair. Not the biggest issue in the world, but one I wish I knew about before! Overall I would stay here again. :)

The house was exactly as described, easy to find, and a great location. It fit our group very well - we had 6 adults and two dogs. It was nice to come home to a hot tub and a real fireplace after a day on the mountain. The house and kitchen were fully stocked with everything we needed besides spices, which the house description recommends you bring yourself. Great to know that ahead of time, thank you! However, we did feel like we overpaid a bit compared to other houses in the area but maybe that's how it works when going through a rental company, bringing dogs, and getting a place with a hot tub. Overall, we would recommend this house and rental company.

Everything was exactly as expected. The cabin is older, but thats what gives it the charm. Easy to find, close enough to everything from grocery to bars to ski mtns and hiking. Bunk beds were solid for an adult and the house had adequate heating. The only bummer, which ultimately led to 4 stars, is that they want the hot tub unoccupied after 10pm. It didnt seem that there were any occupants near enough to matter, but i guess they have had problems in the past. Otherwise ide stay here again.
