Beautiful and cozy stay in North Lake Tahoe. Finding our way to the property and inside was painless. Very clean and cozy with all the amenities you need to feel right at home. Being right by the lake, grocery store, shops & food is a major plus. Will be returning

Good location, walkable to beach, Safeway, restaurants. Quiet and private, there’s a big park behind the house so it’s also good for dogs. Well equipped, you can find everything you need for a trip. The heater is good, not too dry. Might be small for someone who is tall. The bed is a little bit small.

Gorgeous little cottage in a quiet street. Has a gas fireplace that's hooked up to the thermostat so we didn't get cold at all. Five minute walk to the beach.

The location is absolutely awesome. Walkable to the beach and lots of restaurants. The ceiling is quite low as other folk’s mentioned, if you’re over 6ft it might be a little cumbersome. We didn’t have any issues with cleanliness - the place was very clean.

This studio cabin was the perfect size for my husband and I. It was small but very cozy. The kitchen had all of the necessities for us to be able to make small breakfast in the morning and we found that the grill out front was actually a gas grill with a clicker which was so convenient! The location was wonderful since it was just a short walk to kings beach and we were able to find “Tahoe paddle & oar” who rents out kayaks and puts them on the beach for you. It’s perfect for visiting the north side of Lake Tahoe. Just keep in mind if you want to visit South Lake Tahoe it will be about 45 minutes to an hour drive. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

Perfect if you’re looking for a woodsy, cozy type vibe.

This was the perfect last minute weekend getaway spot! Just the right size for us and our Dog. Walkable to everything we needed and cozy and private when we needed to get out of the sun and away from the crowds. We had a very nice time here.

It's a true tiny cabin that is perfect for walking to the golf course, volleyball sand pits, beach, and paddle boarding. The restaurant at the golf course is perfect for breakfast or lunch. You can even walk to the grocery store and coffee shop.

The building itself is small but perfect for two and skillfully arranged. Walking to friendly beaches in a crowded place like Lake Tahoe in the summer is worth it’s weight in gold and a hassle free existence

We loved our time at this beachside cottage!! It was walkable to everything (most notably to the beach!). We walked to different cafes for breakfast every morning, to different restaurants for dinner… it is steps from Spindleshanks which is a great place for brunch/lunch or dinner. Agate Bay Realty was incredibly responsive and helpful whenever I had any questions. Highly recommend for a couple looking for a lovely beach retreat in Lake Tahoe!!

This is a cozy little cottage. The location was wonderful. Close to the golf course on a fairly quiet street; but just minutes from the Lake and all the restaurants and activities. If you are looking to unplug for a minimalist experience.. this is your place!

Overall the stay was fantastic, the neighborhood is very cute, walkable, and close to town. We had a little problem with the plumbing and toilet on the morning of our checkout, but the host was responsive quickly, and ensured the issue was properly managed. I would stay here again!

Thank you for our lovely stay! It was slightly confusing upon arrival which part of the property was the house but after figuring that out, everything went smoothly. It was very clean, a good location in a solid casita, although it’s smaller than expected. Great spot for just a few short nights. Location was wonderful and communication was good. Convenient location. Beach, grocery store and bar/Restaurant (at local golf course) within walking distance. Using the place as base-camp works well, but not ideal if you expect to cook-in.

Great little spot for a couple (and pup). The small kitchenette is sufficient for all your breakfast and snacking needs, and the proximity to restaurants, 24 hr grocery store, beach, and shops was incredible. Felt super clean and check-in and out was seamless. Would definitely recommend for people who don’t need a huge space and plan on spending the majority of their time out and about exploring the lake.

Nice cozy cabin for two, a short walk to Kings Beach. Near the main roads but quiet & serene.

This cabin was beautiful and very clean in a wonderful location. Just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Take into account that it is a small cabin but very good for just a couple. The host was amazing and very accommodating. 10/10 will be back

Great location, clean but VERY small cottage. It is a renovated smallish 1-car garage with no real room to move around (let alone cook) and a shower that is barely usable if you are of normal size. One offset is a nice shared lot where we were fortunate to meet some great neighbors.

It a really good cabin in a really good area! The beach is literally at a walking distance and there are lots of activities in the area and lots to see when walking around! Overall it a really good stay regardless if it for a whole month or for a few days! It also very personal and the restroom has some nice hot water and the kitchen has a lot of potential for making all kinds of foods!

This little gem is just what you need to enjoy those dog walks to the beach!! The parklike setting is very fun and even though very small, this is a great place to come after long walks with my dog and sit and enjoy the beautiful old pines from the deck chairs.

The cottage was sparkling clean (we’ve stayed there before). We love staying with Agate bay as they are very responsive and pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, this time there was a fire that blanketed Kings Beach in smoke so my husband and I had to leave. Agate Bay gave us a refund for all time not used with no problem at all. We love you Agate Bay! Keep up the great customer service!!!!!

Great property. Easy to check in and out, and fantastic location.

Check in was clear and easy. Everything was clean and tidy, but even though other reviews kept mentioning how small it was, we were still surprised just how small. Nevertheless , we had just about everything we needed. We were thankful for the heater because it worked great in the cold weather.

enjoyed celebrating christmas in this super cozy cabin. perfect size for our fam (2 adults + 1 pup) with all the amenities we needed. easy to get to the mountains and local restaurants.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying here! The cabin had everything we needed to feel comfortable at home for the weekend. You can’t beat the location of it either, walking distance to the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is great and is within walking distance for water access, groceries, and dining. While it is a small cabin, it worked fine for two people for four days. The ceilings are a bit low, so it might be a problem for tall people. Overall though, we had a very nice time.

Convenient location for visiting north shore beaches and recreation. Very small space with low ceilings and tiny kitchen. Felt the place was very pricey for what it was—though I recognize it’s peak summer season in Tahoe.

The cabin is cute but the customer service is terrible and the host has some type of mental instability and chose to send me harassing emails after my checkout. Also, be prepared for the toilet to clog easily. Previous other guests have complained about this but the host denies accountability for the poor plumbing system. I would recommend staying somewhere else due to the unprofessionalism of the host. Give your money to a better person.

I stayed here with my husband over an impromptu Tahoe trip. The location was amazing, an the cottage was absolutely adorable for two people looking to get away. We were walking distance to the Safeway, dining, and most of what we wanted to do. We're already planning a winter trip back with intentions of staying here again!

This cozy cabin is great! Located in a beautiful, quiet, friendly neighborhood, we walked our dog around every morning. Between the kitchenette and the BBQ we made most of our meals in. A short walk to the lake, shops and restaurants in King's Beach.

Cute, clean, and a great weekend getaway! This cottage was perfect for our needs (2 people). The place is very close to King Beach and is walking distance to many great restaurants, beaches, grocery stores (Safeway nearby), and a cute mini golf place! The place comes with all the amenities you need for a weekend getaway (small kitchenette) and cozy living room area. Highly recommend!Thank you for being a great host. The space was clean, spacious, and very cute! It was great to walk into town and I could not have picked a better place to stay! Thank you so much!

Lovely cabin for a cozy weekend at the lake. Communication was quick and efficient. Cabin was very clean and well equipped and is located a 10 minutes walk from Kings Beach. There is a Safeway close by.

This place is super cute, and at a great location! We loved being close to Safeway, and to Kings Beach. The space is tiny, but very comfortable! It has a pretty small kitchen space, but it had just enough so you can make your own meals and help save a little extra money. If you like to golf, definitely a great place to stay as you are walking distance to the course. Had a great vacation, and would definitely recommend to friends or family who are planning to visit the Tahoe Vista/Kings Beach area.

Excellent cabin in north Lake Tahoe. The location is ideal as a base for exploring the area. Besides being across the street from Kings Beach, you're able to be in Truckee, Tahoe City or Incline Village within 20 minutes. The check-in was super easy with a simple lock box on the door. The owner was super responsive to all of our needs and even brought us a new heater! There's a dedicated spot directly next to the cabin so there's no worry with finding parking or street parking restrictions. I think the cabin is ideal for a couple traveling but may be a little tight for more than 2 people.

This place was exactly as described and had everything we needed and more for our couple vacay! The location was ideal, quiet, and within walking distance to North Tahoe Beach and many restaurants, not to mention the nearest grocery store is right around the corner. The bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the remote controlled electric stove, it was perfect for when nights got a little chilly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend for couples!

Super cozy cabin! Perfect for a couples weekend away. The lake is literally just down the road and you’re close to Safeway and the other shops and restaurants in town. It may be a bit too small if you want to bring your dog and it a large dog, but nevertheless it a comfortable stay and there plenty of space outside for your dog to run around. Thanks Agate! Loved our stay at the hole in one cabin! The cabin is very small but it had everything we needed for our stay and it was a short drive from Northstar for a fun day of skiing.

This cabin was perfect for two people. It was cozy and quaint. Loved that the lake was close and Tahoe City/Sqaw Valley/Truckee! Would stay here again!

Idyllic, dreamy cabin in the woods with amazing location and great kitchen. We arrived here during a snowstorm so it was so nice to have parking on site and not have to park in the street. Check in was super easy - we arrived at night so this was so helpful. The cabin is so cute and the kitchen is so nice and updated. My boyfriend is 6'4" and the ceiling was a little low for him, only a few inches between his head and the ceiling when he was standing straight up. But it felt perfect for me! We would gladly stay here again.

Very nice bungalow , clean and convenient to local businesses. Bring some of your own supplies for a lengthy stay. The tv channels were limited but that was only a small problem. I would definitely stay again . It was a pleasant surprise .

It was an awesome little cabin to stay in! Will definitely be returning the only thing that could be improved was a way to clean boots when there is 2ft of snow so you don’t get the rugs wet. But if you knock them off good and use the shoe tray it not bad.

This was our first time using Air bnb and we were pleasantly surprised. The cabin was adorable and there were little touches around the cabin that made it even more adorable. I am very particular about cleanliness, especially in a place where a lot of people come and go and this cabin was as clean as it possibly could have been. I loved that! The kitchen was perfect for what we wanted for this stay. It was so unbelievably cozy I could hardly get over it. I really, really wanted it to snow while we were there because it was the kind of cabin that would be fun to be stuck in during a snow storm (with a stocked fridge) but we happened to have the only 2 days out of a million that most people would have loved, no snow storm. There was a ton of snow on the ground though! The location was beautiful and there was a book that had a ton of suggestions of what to do in the area and restaurants to go to for every level of Foodie. Next time we want to stay longer so we want a full kitchen, hot tub and a deck with a great view and a beautiful stainless steel propane BBQ so we rented the main house on the property and rented the cabin we just stayed in for my parents. Perfect idea to be with the family but to still have your own space. The main house is called Foursome Cabin. It does have a bedroom with bunk beds so perfect for a family of four with little kids. We honestly couldn't have asked for anything else!! Thank you Agate Bay...see you soon!

We stayed at Agate Bay for a few nights while we were snowboarding at Northstar. It was a great place to stay! We highly recommend staying them, especially if you bring a pet along!

This studio was absolutely perfect for an anniversary weekend get away in the snow. It is super clean and obviously remodeled but still kept the rustic, cabin feel. Perks: - Walking distance to the lake, downtown Kingsbeach, Safeway and Spindleshanks restaurant/bar (perfect for a nightcap only a 5 minute walk away) - Super effective gas heater, get's the whole place toasty in minutes - Kitchen with all the amenities: Kierug, microwave, mini-fridge, stove top, cutlery etc - The bed is AMAZING. I was out in minutes every night - Self-check in with lock box. They were nice enough to let us check in early since we ended up with no traffic into Tahoe Cons: - Shower is one of those corner stand ups. Pretty tight but it has hot water so who can complain - This only applies to a small % but the ceiling is low (guessing 6'5"). I only mention because (I found it hilarious but...) my boyfriend is 6'7" and he couldn't stand upright the whole time :D I HIGHLY recommend this place, especially if you have pups. I'll definitely book again in the future!!

Well-heated, nicely decorated! This home is a great use of a small space with an incredibly comfortable mattress. We slept very well and had a great time skiing!

Cute little cabin in a great location! The cabin is small, but great for a couple and a dog. As stated in other reviews the ceiling is low. My husband is 6’ and he only had a few inches of clearance. The kitchen is small, but totally manageable. We were able to make yummy chili for dinner with all of the kitchen tools they provided. The check in/out process was very easy and simple as well.

What a fantastic value for a completely charming dog-friendly cabin! The location in Kings Beach right next to Safeway and on the golf course could not have been better, and the bed was so comfortable (FLANNEL SHEETS for winter) we almost stayed another day just so we could sleep in it again! We will definitely be returning.

What a fantastic experience! From the very start this place felt like home. The hosts prepared everything perfectly - we had just exactly what we needed to have a relaxing week away. The location is ideal for experiencing the best of Tahoe, and we will definitely look the Hole-In-One Cabin up again for a return trip. Perfect for a quiet romantic getaway.

Very nice quite area. Walking distance to restaurants, and the lake. However, if you are 6ft tall or more I would not recommend. Ceilings are not standard height. Other than that cute little place, was enough space to fit a large dog kennel.

This place was a great value: small, but clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and within easy walking distance of Kings Beach. As a bonus, we were literally a one-minute walk from our favorite restaurant, Spindleshanks. This was our first visit to Lake Tahoe, and if we're able to return (as we hope), we'll look to this property first.

The place was very accurate Tom pictures and the location was great. It was close to grocery store and the beach. The ceiling is very low, so if you are 6’2 or taller. It may seem right. However, it is very cozy and feels comfortable just like you can imagine a cabin in the woods would be. Make sure you check emails before arriving. Host didn’t seem to understand the that we haven’t received the instructions how to get into cabin, and it was hard to have him resend. Overall, it was a very good experience. Good cabin, great location, and great price too for Lake Tahoe. I would stay there again. :)

This is a great cabin in a nice quiet area. Spindleshanks restaurant at the golf course is walking distance and has an amazing menu. There's a small beach you can walk to as well as a Safeway grocery store.

Great comfy little spot right on the golf course. The course restaurant is a 2 minute walk from the cabin, and the burgers were great! Theres a grill, and the propane tanks had enough in them to cook with.

Perfect little cabin. Really comfortable for one or two people. The area is perfect - cute restaurants around as well. Kings Beach was right across the street with beautiful views. This was my first trip to Lake Tahoe and this cozy space was the perfect touch.

My boyfriend and I loved this place. We brought his 85-pound Doberman with us and still had room to fit his crate next to the bed. The shower is fairly small but it's doable. The bed was super comfy and Netflix worked really fast. It was the perfect place for out first time visiting Lake Tahoe!

Excellent location for a visit to North side of Tahoe. So close to town, we walked to get Pizza from Whitecaps (best pizza ever!) and to breakfast over at Brockway. We brought our bikes and biked to the beach (although it is close enough to walk to). The house itself was small, but perfect for 2 people. No oven, but all other amenities were included. Very cute and I would definitely stay here again!

This cabin is in a prime location to the lake, food and the grocery store. It is tucked back in a quiet little neighborhood. The cabin itself was so cute and quaint. We loved our stay here. Definitely would recommend to anyone staying in this area.

The cabin is very cute and cozy and has (almost) everything you need for a short stay. There are plenty of bedding, pillows, towels, and kitchen utensils/cookware. The location is very central as well -- 2 min from Safeway, 3-5 min from the town/restaurants, 5 min from a great hiking trail, and about 20 min from Truckee/Sand Harbor. The only missing thing is a table to work and/or eat from.

Great little cabin away from the city. It's right next to a closed golf course so it was fun to have my dog run around.
